God Squad
TJ Green NFL
TJ Green attended Sylacauga High School in Alabama. He played Wide Reciever and as a senior had nine receiving touchdowns. He committed to Clemson University to play college football. TJ Green played wide receiver his freshman year at Clemson and prior to his sophmore year switched to saftey. Excelling at safety, TJ Green entered the NFL Draft and was selected by the Indianpolis Colts in the second round.
After seven years of professional football experience, TJ has embarked on an entrepreneurial carrier. One thing is still in place and thats his faith!
Marques Ogden NFL
Marques Ogden is a former NFL player at the center and tackle positions. Marques was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2003 NFL Draft. Marques Ogden is a 2002 graduate of Howard University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, with emphasis on construction and cost accounting. Currently Marques is keynote speaker for major corporations and multiple other channels.
Marques is a great example of being a Christian and a successful entrepreneur. Beyond the demanded speaker, Marques has also created a top Podcast show entitled Authentic.
Joe Johnson NFL
Joseph Johnson is a retired NFL football player who was a defensive end for the New Orleans Saints and the Green Bay Packers in the 1994 NFL Draft. Joe was selected by the Saints in the first round with the 13th overall pick. Joe was a standout football player at the University of Louisville and known for his passion and athleticism.
Today Joe is involved in real estate and of course living a Christian lifestyle. Toward The Lord is excited to have Joe onboard as a God Squad member.
Jim Dowd NHL
James Dowd is a retired NHL center who played 17 NHL seasons. Jim, who won the 1995 Stanley Cup with his hometown New Jersey Devils, was the second New Jersey high school hockey player to make it to the NHL. Jim is a frequent guest on NHL Live.
Jim was a prolific scorer, earning selections to the NCAA West Second All-American and CCHA Second All-Star Teams in 1990 and the NCAA West First All-American and CCHA First All-Star Teams in 1991. He was also named the CCHA's "Player of the Year" in 1991.
Currently Jim is in high demand as a hockey coach while focused on hockey youth growth. Jim reads the bible daily and stays in the word. Jim is a terrific example of being a professional athlete and successful coach and businessman, while being an evident Christian.
