The Toward The Lord founder, also known as the "Chief Baggage Handler", has been spreading the word of God for many years. Like many, he has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, however, continues to start the day with prayer and doing God's work. Married for 33 years to his High School sweetheart and a parent to two wonderful kids, God has blessed the Baggage Handler throughout his life, be it his loving family, corporate career, numerous friends, and so much more. While traveling in the Baggage Handlers corporate career, time was always made for sharing the Gospel and working with Christian Nonprofit organizations. It was when the Baggage Handler transitioned from a Food Manufacturing Executive to becoming a Sr VP in the NBA that God took over completely.
On the first day in the NBA, in a new state and city, God put on the Baggage Handlers heart that it's all about HIS glory. God created ideas and a passion that could only come from HIM. In a short period of time, Faith and Family Nights and Book Mobiles for kids were created in a city that needed it greatly. It was then that the Baggage Handler was on God's starting five (no pun intended).
The Faith and Family Night was made possible by the following: American Bible Society, Moody Bible Institute, Word Records, and an NBA owner who was a Christian. Over 10,000 Psalm Books were handed out to most of the 17,000 attendees with tables manned by the American Bible Society on the concourse. Word Records (part of Warner Records) provided top Contemporary Christian Artists for halftime and after game entertainment.
The Baggage Handler was asked to be on More Than Conquerors (Trinity Broadcast Network) with Chris Paul and Coach Byron Scott. In addition, the Baggage Handler was invited to the Dove Awards and the Moody Bible Institute.

Helping people surrender burdens. Teach, guide, counsel and unpack scripture. The Chief Baggage Handler is committed to using himself as a vessel for the Lord and sharing HIS good word with others.
Leads, directs, convicts, and comforts restless souls so that they may enjoy the loving compassion of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. “Let’s see where the Conductor is taking us”
The journey of discipleship where every trip is a “ride” or “leg of the journey to know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ”. Coming to know Jesus is a transformative and personal journey that moves beyond mere knowledge about him to daily communion, often described as a life-changing and eternal experience.
Salvation is free, paid in full and metaphorically we always remind "travelers" the blood of Jesus covers the cost of train travel. The grace and redemptive power of faith is beyond our understanding and of course we simply do not deserve it. Thank Jesus for the cross and what he did for all of us.
The invitation is open to all and Toward The Lord sees it as a call-to action. The seats on the metaphorical train are unlimited as God's house has many rooms for all who trust in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The meaning of the train was established through a metaphorical lens, through which the Holy Spirit acts as the conductor of the train while the founder of Toward The Lord is the Baggage Handler. Toward The Lord "All Aboard”, where train carries the #7, as in the Bible, the number signifies completion, perfection and divine wholeness. The train offers unlimited seating, while the cost of transport is covered through the blood of Jesus Christ.

Luke 6:30-32/Matthew 5:42-43
“Give to everyone who begs from you; and if anyone takes away your goods, do not ask for them again. Do to others as you would have them do to you. ‘If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them.” Toward The Lord Inc. follows the way of scripture when it comes to helping the poor & forgotten. "God's word teaches that our brothers and sisters are the prolongation of the incarnation for each of us: 'As you did it to one of these, the least of my brethren, you did it to me' (Mt 25:40). The way we treat others has a transcendent dimension: 'The measure you give will be the measure you get' (Mt 7:2). It corresponds to the mercy which God has shown us: 'Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven; give, and it will be given to you . . . For the measure you give will be the measure you get back' (Lk 6:36-38). Toward The Lord will continue to work on behalf of the marginalized and forgotten in the name of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.
